Our Community Garden is a very popular wellbeing activity at St Paul's. Students who are invited into the Garden must understand that it is a privilege to participate in Garden activities.
Our Community Garden is managed by Mrs Cheryl Paech. Mrs Paech is a qualified horticulturalist. Local volunteers also work in the Garden each Friday with our students. Garden activities have been developed to teach students about horticulture production and the ‘seed to plate’ concept. Specifically, our students learn about various aspects of horticulture such as workplace health and safety, climate, crop planning, propagation, seeding methods, composting, pest & weed management, fertilization, and tool use & maintenance.
