Given that St Paul's has been established as a Christian school in the Lutheran spirituality, Christian Studies is a compulsory area of study for all students from Year 7 to Year 12. Christian Studies aims to provide a unique opportunity for students to explore their relationship to Jesus Christ within the context of self; friends; family; and the wider community. Christian Studies therefore forms an essential element of our identity as a Christian school. Embedded within the curriculum content of Christian Studies are the core values for all Lutheran schools across Australia – love, justice, compassion, forgiveness, service, courage, humility, hope, quality, and appreciation.
In Years 9 and 10, students participate in The Rite Journey which has their Christian Studies embedded into the program and allows students to learn about their identity, purpose and gifts. The program allows them to learn and serve through a wide range of ways activities. You can read more about The Rite Journey by clicking on the link below.
