Whilst, we thought Year 9 Visual Arts set the bar high with their incredible Mural in the new Ag Classroom, they continued with their great work this term with their Monster creations.
This term in Year 9 Visual Arts students studied monsters and gargoyles from historical painting and sculptural works, as well as contemporary popular culture. Students used this study, to inform their art making where designed and created large scale monsters in Paper Mache.
Students embraced the challenges of working with Paper Mache, to problem solve, use critical reflection and creativity. Year 9 students worked well in supporting, sharing ideas and giving a helping hand where needed. The teamwork displayed by the class was excellent! Well done Year 9 on yet again another incredible set of art works.
