| Household contacts - 7 days isolation (unless they previously had COVID-19 and it has been no more than 12 weeks since they ceased self-isolating as a case, or another member of their household subsequently tests positive and it has been no more than 14 days since they completed their previous self-isolation period as a household contact.). |
Rapid Antigen Testing Information
- If you recently tested positive for COVID you are not required to complete testing until 28 days after isolation or the resolution of symptoms. If symptoms reappear within those 28 days, please follow standard testing and isolation procedures.
Notification
- If you child is symptomatic and tests positive, you are required under the Public Health Order to immediately notify the NSW government and the school
- Please record the positive RAT result through the Service NSW website or Service NSW app
- Please notify the school through the following form. Please note: only positive tests require notification.

Isolation
- If your child tests positive, after notifying Service NSW and the school, please follow the normal absentee process and select 'isolating'
- If your child is a Close Contact and required to isolate, please also follow normal absentee process and select 'isolating'
- Follow NSW Health advice to isolate for 7 days
- Students may return to school after 7 days if no longer symptomatic
- If students remain symptomatic after 7 days, they are to isolate until 24 hours after symptoms resolve.
NSW Health COVID Information
Please be mindful of symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pains, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness.
If your child develops any of these symptoms, please:
Perform a Rapid Antigen Test or go to a COVID-19 testing clinic (see details below); and call the school to let us know and keep your child at home until you receive confirmation that the test is negative, or their symptoms have resolved, whichever is longer.
